Your customers' words stay yours.
This page explains what happens to the messages and documents that pass through our AI assistants. It covers our assistants for businesses and our document intake assistant for law firms, which is in development.

Who decides what happens to the data
You do. You decide why the data is collected and how long it is kept. We process it for you, under a written agreement, and only for the service you asked for.
Where it is stored
Business assistants run in accounts opened in your name. For the law firm assistant, storage and hosting are in India. Each firm's data is kept apart from every other firm's, and access is limited by matter.
Who can see it
You, the people you give access to, and the small group at Dexon Sync who run your setup. Every access is logged.
Which AI services we use
We only use AI services whose written terms say your data is not used to train their models and is not kept longer than needed to process it.
The providers for your project, and the regions where they process data, are named in your written agreement before any assistant handles live customer data. If a provider changes, we tell you in writing first.
What we never do
- We never use your customers' messages or your documents to train AI models, ours or anyone else's.
- We never sell your data. We share it only with the providers named in your agreement, as needed to run your service.
- We never let the law firm assistant cite law from outside the firm's own documents. It quotes only what is in the file and links every item to its page.
- We never release anything from the law firm assistant until a named lawyer approves it.
How long we keep it
For 12 months by default, or for the period you choose. The law firm assistant keeps documents for the period each firm sets. After that, we delete them.
How to delete it
Write to hello@dexonsync.com. We delete your data within 30 days and confirm in writing. Backups are cleared within 90 days.
How we keep it safe
Encryption in transit and at rest, access limited by role and by matter, and a log of who opened what and when.
If something goes wrong
If we find a breach that affects your data, we tell you without delay and within 72 hours. We say what happened, what data was involved and what we are doing about it.
Your rights and complaints
India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act gives people rights over their personal data. If you have a request or a complaint, write to hello@dexonsync.com. We reply within 7 days.
